Medical fitness

Medical fitness or Medically Responsible Exercise (MRE) means training under supervision and in a medically responsible way, with the aim of restoring, promoting, or maintaining health.

Individually tailored programs

Attention to fitness, strength, sense of movement, and coordination are brought together in specially tailored individual programs. Solid knowledge of the human body and its functioning is necessary, which is why we believe that physiotherapists are the right people to provide this training. Physiotherapists have a broad understanding of the human musculoskeletal system. Think of (exercise) physiology, anatomy, pathophysiology, research techniques, and so on.

Objectives

Someone participating in Medically Responsible Exercise has certain goals or expectations. These objectives must be inventoried before the start of drafting a training program and must be clear to both parties so that the program can be tailored accordingly. Example objectives are: – Improve endurance – Burn fat / lose weight – Improve muscle strength – Rehabilitation – Relaxation Based on the questionnaires and discussed goals during the intake, you will receive a personal advice and a personal training schedule. This minimizes the risk of physical complaints due to overexertion and ensures that the training schedule best aligns with your objectives.
